Thursday July 19 - Sunday July 22, 2007 - This is a warm-up for the Big Trip later this summer. Permit for 6 reserved.

• Th - drive to Tioga Lake, carcamp, dinner at Tioga Pass Resort
• Fri - drive to Pine Creek trailhead, 7400′, hike to Upper Pine Creek Lake, 10200′, ca. 5 1/2 miles (trail), camp
• Sa - hike via Pine Creek Pass, 11150′ to Royce Lakes, ca. 11700′, ca. 5 miles (trail and cross country), camp
• Su - hike out via Royce Pass, class 1, ca. 11800′, to Pine Creek trailhead, ca. 10 miles (cross country and trail), clean-up at Rock Tub, dinner at Roberto’s in Mammoth, drive home
